As part of Glasgow Tech Week, STAC & The National Robotarium paired up to bring the Future of Robotics event to thebeyond!
This sold-out Robotics Showcase brought together brilliant minds, cutting-edge tech, and a packed room of curious guests in our wonderful event space as they explored where the future of robotics lies.
The event began with introductions and an exciting presentation from a guest speaker on the evolution of humanoid robots, sparking exciting conversations in the space. Stewart said: “Scotland’s role in the robotics space right now is very exciting, as both the market and the sector are growing rapidly, and the technology is advancing quickly. It’s a great time to be involved in robotics here, as the infrastructure and ecosystem we’ve built are starting to make a real impact.”
Panel Discussion with Robotics Leaders
We were excited to hold a panel discussion, led by Rhonda Wheate, bringing together inspiring guests from the world of robotics. Each of these guests were able to offer real-world perspectives from the frontlines of robotics development. This was a wonderful opportunity for everyone in attendance to learn about the cutting edge of this technology. This panel was then followed by live demos all from our inspiring tenants at thebeyond, which of course stole the show. From endurance drones to AI companion tech, guests had the thrilling chance to get up close with the brand new products that are being designed and built in-house here at thebeyond in our different lab spaces.
